Office Manager for Local Law Firm Attains HR Certification

PORT ORANGE – John Robinson, office manager for the Port Orange-based law firm of Rue, Ziffra & Caldwell, recently become certified as a Professional in Human Resources. Robinson, who has worked for the personal-injury firm for seven years, began studying for the nationally-recognized certification earlier this year. Successful completion of the test – which is administered by the Human Resource Certification Institute – signifies that Robinson has higher than average theoretical knowledge and practical experience in human resource management. “John worked very hard to realize his goal,” according to Allan L. Ziffra, president of the long-time firm. “We are very proud to have an employee with his background and credentials on our staff.” Prior to joining Rue, Ziffra & Caldwell, Robinson was a Florida-licensed claims adjuster, having spent 10 years working for insurance companies. As a result, he has significant experience evaluating and negotiating cases. As office manager he provides support to attorneys and staff, while managing all accounting operations of the company, including payables, receivables, payroll and financial statements, as well as all human resource needs.
