IROC Tactical Unveils Tool-Free Adjustable Tactical Muzzle Device

Winter Springs, Fla-- IROC Tactical, a breakout firearms accessory manufacturer, has introduced the IROC MB, a precisely engineered signature accessory that features tool-free adjustability for the AR15 weapon platform to improve accuracy and reliability and reduce climb rate. Serg Albino, president and CEO of IROC Tactical, said the IROC MB was designed for serious shooters with superior performance in a highly reliable package. IROC stands for Increases Reliability on Combat, he added. The IROC MB adapts to any AR15 weapon platform – with options for .30 cal early this year --and is especially beneficial for short-barrel weapons. “The IROC MB increases reliability through its tool-free adjustability,” Albino explained. “Short-barrel gas operated weapons under 10.5 inches have a fast cycle rate, which contributes to jamming and affects climb,” said Rob McNeill, the firm’s chief operating officer and principal. “The IROC MB properly tunes the cyclic rate, increases the blow-back gas pressure and allows the bolt to remain open longer. Rounds eject reliably and the bolt cycles more efficiently,” McNeill said. With tool-free adjustability, the IROC MB gives the shooter the option of firing ammunition of varying grain loads with the same consistent feel in every trigger pull, according to McNeill. That tool-free adjustability and multi-platform adaptability was enough to qualify for U.S. Patent Number 8186261. “The IROC MB is the premier muzzle brake for any rifle platform, from short-barreled rifles to long-range sniper platforms, providing shooters greater precision and a more enjoyable shooting experience,” McNeill said. While not technically a sound suppressor as tested by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearm (BATF), the IROC MB reduces the weapon’s visual and aural signature, improves accuracy and precision, and controls unwanted recoil and barrel climb. IROC is a subsidiary of Caveat Engineering, a technology company that focuses on innovative solutions to product development and manufacturing. “We formed IROC because we are avid shooters with ideas for products tailored for our market,” Albino said. “Rave reviews at this year’s International SWAT Round Up by law enforcement and SWAT specialists are already pushing sales.” The fully-adjustable IROC MB comes in two versions: a $199.95 civilian model for casual shooters and the $349.95 version that meets military specs for the serious shooter.
