Avalon Park wins Three Top Awards at Orange County Neighborhood Services Community Conference

ORLANDO, Fla. - Avalon Park in east Orlando won three top awards during the recent Orange County Neighborhood Services Community Conference.

Stephanie Hodson, marketing coordinator at Avalon Park Group, said developer Beat Kähli, who heads Avalon Park Group, was presented a special award for Excellence in Leadership in 2009.

Avalon Park won two community awards, Hodson said.

Avalon Park was named Orange County’s Clean and Attractive Neighborhood of the Year, and won a second award for Excellence in Safety and Security Initiatives. The awards were accepted by Tracy Durham, Avalon Park Property Owners Association Manager.

NAI Realvest Named Exclusive Broker for D.R. Horton Commercial Tracts in Winter Garden, Kissimmee, St. Cloud

ORLANDO, Fla. - NAI Realvest has been named exclusive broker to sell commercial tracts adjacent to three residential developments in Winter Garden, Kissimmee and St. Cloud.


Paul P. Partyka, managing partner of NAI Realvest, is the principal broker for the development sites which include:


• two parcels that total 14.65 acres on W. Colonial Drive in Winter Garden at the entrance to Tucker Oaks, a community of single-family homes. Both parcels – 9.49 acres on the west and 4.71 acres on the east side of the entrance – are zoned for commercial with projected retail and office development, priced at $4.24 million for both;

• a 5.29-acre site zoned to permit Neighborhood Business development on Kissimmee Park Rd. at Anthem Park, priced at $1.275 million;

• a 1.27-acre site at 3797 Boggy Creek Rd. in Kissimmee adjacent to Springlake Village. The site, priced at $395,000, is zoned to permit construction of a convenience store or medical or dental office center.


Partyka said the owner, Central Florida homebuilder D.R. Horton, Inc., has priced the parcels for immediate sale.
