MOUNT DORA, Fla. - Handex Consulting and Remediation, SE, LLC (HCR), which ranks as the one of the largest environmental cleanup agencies in Florida, has appointed Candice Thrush, Project Coordinator.
Irvin R. Heath, President of HCR, said Thrush has more than 25 years of experience as an administrative specialist with Fortune 500 companies including mall mogul, A. Alfred Taubman. She has more than seven years in the environmental industry, and was formerly associated, between 2000 and 2008, with Fleetwood Homes of California, ENSR International (an AECOM company) out of Orange County, Calif, and The IT Group (acquired by The Shaw Group), Irvine, Calif.
Thrush, who majored in business at Oakland Community College in Michigan, was also the owner-operator of her own California Pizza Company restaurant business in Riverside, Calif.
In addition to her role as project coordinator at HCR, Thrush will provide support for Heath and the firm’s Chief Financial Officer, Jim Bruce.
