Winter Park, Fla. – Ride Green Scooters, on West Fairbanks Avenue in Winter Park is offering a free back-to-school safety inspection for all makes, models and brands of motor scooters with purchase of a $39.90 oil change.
Bonnie Schwartz, manager of Ride Green Scooters, said thousands of college and high school students will take to the roadways on fuel-efficient motor scooters over the next few weeks as classes get underway.
“We wanted to introduce ourselves to scooter owners and their parents who don’t already know about us and do something positive for the community,” Schwartz said.
The free “all makes scooter safety inspection” is worth $25, Schwartz said.
The “all makes scooter safety inspection” includes:
• Lights, horns, brakes lights, warning lights, battery
• Brake pads
• Tires and pressure
• All fluid levels and conditions
• Wheel bearing and steering
• Nuts and bolts
• Oil leaks
• All cables
• Road test for drive belt and overall performance
Schwartz said motor scooter owners or their parents can visit Ride Green Scooters on a first come, first serve basis or call 407-332-7900 for an appointment.
Ride Green Scooters “All makes scooter safety inspection” takes about one hour, Schwartz said.
