DENVER, Colo. — New Home Star, a national real estate sales and marketing firm that works with builders and developers to sell new homes, has opened an office in Denver.
David Rice, president of New Home Star, said Todd Wakely has been named division president in the Denver region.
Wakely has more than 25 years of executive level experience in the real estate and homebuilding industries, and formerly served as vice president of asset management for Northstar Commercial Partners, where he was responsible for all aspects of asset management from property acquisition through disposition.
“Todd Wakely is one of the most experienced real estate executives in the Rocky Mountain Region and has a strong builder background. His homebuilding expertise combines with his passion for sales to create a unique individual capable of leading a operationally-focused sales operation,” Rice said.
Wakely served as division president of Meritage Homes, vice president of Trend Homes, and held senior level positions in land acquisition and development with Ryland Homes and Morrison Homes.
Wakely is a licensed real estate broker in Arizona and Colorado and a member of the Urban Land Institute.
New Homes Star, headquartered in Chicago, also has offices in Colorado Springs and in several other markets across the country.
