Stirling Sotheby’s International Realty Named Exclusive Broker for 3,100 acre development site at I-95 in Ormond Beach

LAKE MARY, Fla. --- Stirling Sotheby’s International Realty has been named exclusive sales and marketing agents for the 3,100 acre Hunter’s Ridge development site, located off SR 40 two miles east of I-95 in Ormond Beach. Roger Soderstrom, founder and owner of the Lake Mary real estate firm, said he will personally head an international campaign to market the property, assisted by Stirling Sotheby’s International Commercial Investment Specialists Mark Arnold and John Kurtz. The Hunter’s Ridge (http://www.huntersridgefla.com) mixed use development of regional impact (DRI) was approved in 1988 and updated in 2010, Soderstrom said, and it allows for 1,885 residential units and more than 600,000 square feet of commercial development. The first phase of the project with approximately 910 acres has been developed and all major roadways, utilities, elementary school and fires stations are currently in place. Hunter’s Ridge is located minutes from the newly constructed 396 bed Florida Memorial Hospital, along with major medical complexes, retail and dining. The Daytona Beach Airport and International Speedway are nearby. Hunter’s Ridge is planned and positioned for immediate development and would be ideal for an active adult mixed-use community with a major core component that could include health, wellness, exercise, educations, shopping and dining,” Soderstrom emphasized. The property is listed for sale at $15 million.
