Lennar’s Central Florida Division Promotes Randall Smith to Director of Construction

TAMPA, Fla. --- Lennar’s Central Florida Division has promoted Randall Smith to director of construction in the Tampa region. Mark Metheny, president of Lennar’s Central Florida Division, said Smith is a highly talented home building executive with more than 30 years of experience who joined Lennar last year as construction manager. Formerly Smith was vice president for another national builder. “Randy is one of the most knowledgeable home building executives in Florida with proven experience and he is more than up to the task of directing our construction efforts in the Tampa Bay area including Hillsborough, Pinellas and Pasco counties,” Metheny said. In his new role as director of construction, Smith will work closely with the construction team on schedules, prioritizing work activities, maintaining customer and trade partner relations, inspection of home for quality compliance, construction documents, recruiting hiring and supervising the construction staff.
