Hold-Thyssen Reports New Leases That Total 60,000 Square Feet in Colony Crossing Retail Center Turnaround

TAMPA, Fla. --- Hold-Thyssen Real Estate Services in Tampa recently leased 60,000 square feet of space at the Colony Crossing Shopping Center located on W. Hillsborough Ave. at the intersection of Elliott Drive in Tampa adjacent to the Walmart Neighborhood Center. Richard Fisher, vice president of investor services at Hold-Thyssen’s Tampa office, negotiated all three lease agreements, which include 15,000 square feet leased to The Round Up, a Country and Western entertainment center; 3,000 square feet to Greenberg Dental and 42,000 square feet to PK’s Play Zone and Grille, a family entertainment center which is scheduled to open by the end of year. The new leases boost the former Publix shopping center’s occupancy from 17 to 68 percent and have generated strong interest in the property from other Tenants that want to be part of the new project, Fisher said. Fisher and Hold-Thyssen reported earlier they leased 3,466 square feet at Colony Crossing to Dosa Hut an Indian vegetarian restaurant whose recent grand opening was attended by over 2300 patrons.
