Lennar Central Fla hosted “Lennar Little Builders” Day - Over 100 Kindergartners participated from Harmony Community School

ORLANDO, Fla. --- Lennar, which builds single-family homes in Harmony, recently held an event in cooperation with the Harmony Community School to get kindergartners excited about building homes. Brock Nicholas, division president for Lennar in the Orlando region, said the “Lennar’s Little Builders” event was not only a good team building exercise but a way to work with the community to enrich children. Nick Nichols, director of Quality Assurance for Lennar’s Central Florida division, met the students and teachers at one of Lennar’s homes under construction for a full tour and explanation of everything involved in the process. “We gave them work aprons and hard hats for the tour; the kids and teachers were thrilled,” Nichols said. After the lesson, Nichols said they went to Lennar’s Harmony model home for snacks and Q&A. “It was a big hit,” Nichols said, adding, “and a privilege to help inspire them.” “This is what a community is all about,” Nicholas said. “We work together, while helping make our community a better one. Nick did a great job teaching,” he said. All Lennar homes at Harmony – the eco-friendly golf preserve community off US 192 near St. Cloud in Osceola County – feature the homebuilder’s “Everything’s Included” pledge: a wide range of GE energy smart appliances, special features and upgrades at the one Lennar price.
