NAI Realvest Negotiates Long Term Lease with Florida Fish & Wildlife for 4,642 square feet at Semoran CommerCenter

ORLANDO – NAI Realvest recently negotiated a new five-year lease agreement for 4,642 square feet of flex space at 6830 Shadowridge Drive in the Semoran CommerCenter in southeast Orlando.

Robert Blackwell SIOR, principal at the firm, brokered the transaction representing the landlord, Semoran Commerce Center LLC based in Timonium, Md. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission of Orlando is the new tenant.

Semoran CommerCenter is being developed by Semoran CommerCenter LLC a joint venture between Bavar Properties Group and Realvest Development with 190,000 square feet of flex-warehouse space on an 18-acre site off SR 436 near Orlando International Airport.

Emerson International Leases 11,456 Square Feet of Office Space to World Travel Center in Altamonte Springs

ALTAMONTE SPRINGS - Emerson International recently negotiated new lease agreements that total more than 16,000 square feet of office space in three office facilities.

Eric Emerson, president of Emerson International in Orlando, said World Travel Holdings leased 11,456 square feet of office space at 307 Altamonte Lakes Drive in Altamonte Lakeside Park in Altamonte Springs. Sean Westcott, director of leasing at Emerson International, negotiated the lease agreement representing the landlord. John Gay of CRESA represented World Travel Holdings.

GeoMed, LLC, leased 2,896 square feet of space at Emerson International’s CenterPointe II office building, located at 220 Central Parkway in Altamonte Springs. Kenneth Koch, commercial portfolio manager at Emerson International, represented the landlord in the lease agreement. Aaron Gray of Grubb & EllisCommercial Florida represented GeoMed.

Data Transfer Solutions Secures Several Wildfire Risk Assessment Contracts

ORLANDO - Data Transfer Solutions, LLC, the Avalon Park-based firm that provides asset management, geographic information systems (GIS) services, transportation planning, web design, database applications and multimedia production services to local government and regional and state agencies throughout the U.S., was awarded additional contracts with the State of Texas and the Florida Division of Forestry to increase access to wildfire risk assessment data.

The expertise of DTS’ Vice President of GIS Solutions, David Buckley played a critical role in earning the recent contracts, said A. M. “Trey” Fragala III, AICP, PMP, chief operating officer at Data Transfer Solutions. Mr. Buckley has extensive experience in the design and development of custom GIS applications to address specific domain requirements, such as wildfire management, forest land management, hazard mitigation planning, and advanced landscape analysis and modeling, Fragala went on say.

Specifically, DTS will be developing a wildfire risk assessment web portal for the State of Texas, which will facilitate access to risk information and analysis tools for planners and the public. In addition, Mr. Buckley is working closely with the Florida Division of Forestry to support the integration of wildfire risk information with the State’s Hazard Mitigation Plan update. The State plan will help county planners throughout Florida assess mitigation priorities and local disaster response needs as part of Florida’s DMA 2000 requirements.

Buckley’s recent DTS projects focus on applying GIS analysis and modeling techniques to better utilize risk assessment information with local and state planning efforts. Working with DTS partners, Mr. Buckley is also the technical lead for the West Wide Wildfire Risk Assessment project, a 17 state initiative to analyze wildfire risk across the west (www.westwideriskassessment.com).

Two Town Homes for Sale at Hampton Lakes in Westchase Qualify For $8,000 Tax Credit Incentive

TAMPA - Beazer Homes has two town homes for sale at Hampton Lakes in the Westchase area of Tampa that qualify for the $8,000 federal tax credit incentive.

Kareyann Rhodes, sales manager for Beazer Homes in the Tampa Bay region, said both town homes are under construction now and set for completion before the tax credit’s June 30 closing deadline.

Ashton Woods Homes Acquires 62 Home Sites at Ridge Crest in Brandon Area of Tampa Bay
