ORLANDO, Fla. --- Lennar’s Central Florida Division, which ranked as the number one home builder in both the Orlando and Tampa Bay markets in 2011, plans to build its Grande Estate homes at Red Tail Golf Club, the region’s premier private golf club community on S.R. 46-A, 1.5 miles north of S.R. 46 just west of Heathrow and Lake Mary in East Lake County.
Mark Metheny, president of Lennar’s Central Florida Division, said Lennar has already started construction of a luxury model home at Red Tail.
The Stockton Grande model home at Red Tail will offer four bedrooms and a den in 3,091 square feet of living space with a three-car garage when it opens in late April.
Metheny said Lennar plans to build four and five-bedroom luxury homes at Red Tail with three and four baths that range in size from 2,500 square feet of living space to 4,500 square feet with three and four-car garages.
Lennar’s Grande Estate homes at Red Tail will offer tile roofs, brick paver driveways, maple kitchen cabinets, GE stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, 18" ceramic tile floors in all wet areas, upgraded landscaping and bronze seamless gutters.
Metheny said Lennar will also offer private swimming pools and spas with the Grande Estate homes at Red Tail.
Red Tail Golf Club features Har-Tru tennis courts, state-of-the-art fitness center with spa service, resort-style swimming pool, a Dave Harman-designed 7,152-yard, par 72 course winding through seasoned live oaks and ponds. Club facilities include a 10-acre practice course, two practice putting greens and PGA professionals on staff.
The 15,000 square foot clubhouse boasts an exceptional restaurant, expansive verandah and Hawk’s Nest Bar, men’s and women’s lounges and locker room facilities.
