CHARLESTON, S.C. --- Ryland Homes recently started development at Tupelo, located on Hwy. 17 North near Wando High School in Mt. Pleasant, where the homebuilder recently acquired 155 homesites.
Brian Cartwright Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Ryland Homes in Charleston said an entry road into the development is underway, and the homebuilder plans to start site work in March on Phase I with 60 homesites.
Ryland plans to build three, four and five-bedroom single-family homes starting in the low 200s at Tupelo, Cartwright said.
Two product lines are on the drawing board – Lake Series and Georgetown – but model homes won’t get underway until later in the year, when sales start.
Ryland Homes will eventually build an amenity center with a swimming pool at Tupelo, Cartwright added.
Ryland Homes currently builds single family and townhomes in nine communities throughout the Charleston-Myrtle Beach region. Visit www.ryland.com
