Orange County National Golf Center and Lodge Appoints Former Disney Chef Rick Schneider Kitchen Supervisor

Winter Garden, Fla. --- The Orange County National Golf Center and Lodge in Winter Garden has appointed veteran culinary executive Rick Schneider kitchen supervisor. Tano Malentin, general manager at Orange County National Golf Center and Lodge, said Schneider is a former Disney chef who was a student at the University of Cincinnati when he launched his culinary career as an apprentice at the venerable Kenwood Country Club. A chance to serve as executive chef at Plantation Bay Golf & Country Club in Ormond Beach lured him to Florida, then Walt Disney World Resorts, and the Hyatt Grand Cypress Golf Resort next door. “We’re delighted that one of the bright young stars of our industry is joining us and we are proud to present him at Orange County National,” Malentin said.
