Relic Ball™ Launches on Facebook; An Action Based Social Game from ootii

ST. CLOUD, Fla. --- ootii, a new gaming studio in Central Florida and born out of the University of Central Florida’s Interactive Entertainment Academy, has released an action game for the Facebook platform. Relic Ball is a skills based action game where players travel the world and discover ancient artifacts by interacting with the environment in real-time. As players explore exotic locations, they solve puzzles and collect treasures that can be used to customize their museum. “Relic Ball is a unique game on Facebook. While Facebook remains a viable platform for gamers, there’s a lack of diversity and creativity,” said Tim Tryzbiak, co-founder of ootii where Relic Ball was designed and developed. “We wanted to do something different. There’s a whole new base of gamers that are looking for something more challenging, but still accessible. Relic Ball delivers an experience where players can explore, solve problems, and see the result of their actions in real-time. We’re one of the few skills based action games on Facebook.” ootii looks to tap into the growing base of “mid core” gamers that are playing on Facebook. These players represent a niche of both traditional gamers and social gamers who are looking for free-to-play games that are challenging, but don’t require large commitments of time or money. Feature List: • Available for Facebook (PC) • Real-time physics based interaction, problem solving, and destruction • 8 Unique regions with over 50 levels of gameplay • Player museum to customize and share treasures earned Relic Ball is the first title to be released by ootii.
