CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Ryland Homes in Charlotte earned three Gold and three Silver awards during the Home Builders Association of Charlotte’s 2011 MAME Awards for Major Achievement in Marketing Excellence.
Krista Long, vice president of sales and marketing for Ryland Homes in the Charlotte region, said six Ryland sales counselors earned gold, silver and bronze awards at the event as well.
Ryland Homes earned three gold awards — the event’s top honor.
MAME Awards judges cited Ryland’s Green Marketing campaign featuring their HouseWorks and HERS rating index initiatives as the best advertising event of the year.
Ryland’s sales center earned a gold award as the region’s best design by a national home builder. Ryland’s Sales Center also earned a silver award for best use of technology.
Ryland’s Eastover model home at Cureton in Waxhaw, located on Waxhaw-Marvin Road, earned a gold award for its model interior merchandizing.
Ryland earned two more silver awards, one for model interior merchandising at the Oakwood model home at Christenbury Trace in Concord and for community signage at Walker’s Ridge in Rock Hill.
Six Ryland sales counselors earned MAME awards for sales achievements in 2011.
Larry Barker, sales counselor at Bexley in Fort Mill won a bronze award.
Lindsay Masson at Cureton in Waxhaw, Ericka McKnight at Huck’s Landing in Charlotte, Linda McLendon at The Palisades in Charlotte and Audrey Riddick at Walker’s Ridge in Rock Hill won silver awards.
Vic Karam at Christenbury Trace in Concord won a gold award.
