Lennar starts construction of new homes priced from in the mid $100s at Vista Palms in Sun City Center south of Tampa,

Sun City, Fla. --- Lennar has started sales of single family homes at Vista Palms, their newest community at Sun City Center located off of I-75 and S.R. 674 South of Tampa. Construction has started on three model homes at the community. Mark Metheny, Lennar division president, said the homebuilder plans to build 369 new homes on 40-foot homesites at Vista Palms and 353 homes on 50-foot homesites. Five of Lennar’s most popular floor plans with two car garages are offered at Vista Palms ranging from 1,677 square feet of living area to 2,574 square feet and priced from the mid $100s. Metheny said three models underway will be ready for touring at a grand opening planned for late spring. The Columbus II with 1,677 square feet of living area, three bedrooms, two baths with huge covered patio will be a “Quality You Can See” model that gives homebuyers a cutaway look at Lennar’s engineering and construction techniques. The 1,909 square foot Normandy with four bedrooms and three baths will initially be Lennar’s Welcome Home Center at the community. The two-story Rockefeller with four bedrooms, a loft and three full baths will be furnished and professionally decorated when the community grand opens, Metheny said. “Every home we will build at Vista Palms comes with Lennar’s “Everything’s Included” pledge,” Metheny said. “Upgraded interior features that are typically optional--granite counter tops, wood cabinetry, recessed lighting, designer light fixtures, stainless steel appliances, crown molding–are all included at the one Lennar Homes price.”
